This project is about building a remote controlled platform for a micropone stand.


I have built platform from playwood and custom 3D printed holders for battery and mic base. There are two pololu motors and enclosed electronics attached under the platform. Microphone stand with heavy round base and a 12V battery are placed on top. Wheels are mounted as low as possible to get a stability when driving with long microphone stand and keep the balance.


I used two single pololu motor controllers configured to RC mixing mode. Using both RC channels in mixing mode makes it possible to combine two RC-controlled Simple Motor Controllers to achieve single-stick (mixed) control of a differential drive.
